Although Gillingham may look like easy opponents based on the table, their recent form is improving and they’ve only lost two of their last five games. Sitting four points clear of the relegation zone, they too will be hoping for some valuable points from this game.

Tomorrow, we see Sunderland present an unchanged team as they look to carry on their six game unbeaten run.

Anthony Patterson remains in goal for the Black Cats. The goalkeeper has kept four clean sheets in his last five games and will be hoping to add another one to the tally tomorrow.

The defensive three is made up of Dennis Cirkin, Bailey Wright and Carl Winchester. This back three started the previous two games together and didn’t concede a single goal which puts them in a good position going into this game.

In the midfield we see Jack Clarke, Dan Neil, Luke O’Nien, Corry Evans and Lyndon Gooch who again have all started in the past two games. With Sunderland only finding the next twice in their previous two games, the midfield will be looking to push a bit further forward in order to help their strikers find the net.

Since returning form injury Luke O’Nien has settled back into the side well and scored for his side in their game against Fleetwood at the start of the month.

Up front, we have Ross Stewart and Patrick Roberts. With Stewart already on 22 goals so far this season, he will be hoping to push his tally up as far as possible before the season is out starting tomorrow.
