It may be the international break but that can’t stop us from delivering fresh OneFootball Power Rankings.

Here are our top 10 teams in Europe right now.

10. Roma (🆕)

A win on Sunday saw Roma sneak above Juventus and up to fourth in Serie A.

Unbeaten since the opening game, they’ve won four of their last five, drawing the other game against top of the league Milan, and nobody in the league has scored more in that time.

9. Bayer Leverkusen (🆕)

We’ve barely caught our breath back from watching Leverkusen beat Borussia Mönchengladbach 4-3 on Sunday. Phew.

The Lucas Alario-inspired win was a fourth in a row in the league as the team looks to have well and truly moved on from Kai Havertz. Having scored four in their first four league games of the season, Leverkusen have now scored 11 in their last three.

8. Southampton (🆕)

Look at them go! Southampton have won three on the bounce, five of their last six, and are flying up the Premier League table. Even without Danny Ings.

Ralph Hasenhüttl’s side have emerged as ones to watch this season, impressing onlookers and unsettling opponents with their high-energy style to go up to fourth in the Premier League since losing their opening two games.

7. Ajax (👎 Last week: 5)

Back on track in their Champions League group and as dominant as ever in Eredivisie, who else but Ajax?

Davy Klaassen and Dušan Tadić were on fire again last weekend, sealing a 3-0 win over Utrecht after a tight first half to make it seven Eredivisie wins from eight for the Dutch giants this season.

6. Tottenham (🆕)

Whispers of a north London title contender aren’t whispers anymore. Harry Kane and Son Heung-min have inspired a Tottenham run that sees them sit above Liverpool during this international break.

After a few end-to-end affairs ended in the 3-3 draw with West Ham, things have been tightened up at the back and Spurs have won two of their last three Premier League games with a 1-0 scoreline. Just how José likes it.

5. Leicester City (👍 Last week: 9)

Top of the league, it’s time to have the ‘just how good is Brendan Rodgers?’ conversation again. Answer: very good.

Leicester may have been a little reliant on penalties but they look solid at the other end, despite being without Wilfried Ndidi and Ricardo Pereira, and deservedly top the table while also impressing in Europe.

4. Liverpool (👎 Last week: 3)

It’s just a small drop for Liverpool this week and through no fault of their own.

The Reds were  good value for their point at the Etihad Stadium last week and have managed the injuries to Virgil van Dijk, Fabinho and Thiago superbly. After a couple of rocky weeks, they look back on track.

3. Milan (👎 Last week: 1)

First and foremost, credit to Milan for their draw with Verona. It looked like the wheels were about to come flying off but they recovered and could have even won the game.

The games are piling up and squad depth is threatening to become an issue as players look tired but the Rossoneri deservedly still top the table and are unbeaten in Serie A.

2. Real Sociedad (👍 Last week: 4)

Can they be stopped? Five wins in a row meant Real stayed top of LaLiga over the weekend despite going down to 10 men.

Their tally of 20 goals scored is the most in Spain, and only Atlético (two) have conceded fewer than Real’s four. Imanol Alguacil has found the perfect balance between defence and attack.

1. Bayern Munich (👍 Last week: 2)

Who else? Beating Borussia Dortmund was enough to send Bayern Munich to the top of our pile over this international break.

Hansi Flick’s side were without Alphonso Davies, lost Joshua Kimmich and left Leroy Sané on the bench for most of the game. And still travelled back down south with all three points from what will, on paper, be their toughest league fixture all season.
