West Brom are desperate to bring in a striker during the window and Aston Villa’s Keinan Davis is thought to be a target.

That’s according to reporter Steve Madeley, who has indicated that the 23-year-old is someone who is a realistic option for Valerien Ismael as he looks to add more goals to his team.

Even though Steven Gerrard has arrived at Villa Park, he hasn’t given Davis any minutes in the past two games, and he failed to make the matchday squad last time out.

Therefore, you would expect a loan move to be sanctioned, although there’s sure to be plenty of interest in Davis from Championship sides.

Here we look at ONE winner and ONE loser if Davis moved to The Hawthorns…

Winner: Valerien Ismael

You’d have to say that the Albion boss would be the big winner from this deal as he desperately needs a physical striker, so Davis fits the bill.

The system the Frenchman adopts relies on a focal point up top, and the harsh reality is that none of the current crop have been good enough so far this season.

So, Davis would be a welcome addition and he could be what Ismael needs to get the team clicking.

Are these 10 facts about West Brom actually true?

Loser: Jordan Hugill

It would be too easy to say that Kenneth Zohore would be a loser from this situation, but he hasn’t featured this season anyway.

With that in mind, you’d have to say Hugill would lose from this deal. The former Norwich City striker was signed to be the target man Ismael wants but he hasn’t convinced and the fans are on his back.
