Arsenal midfielder Dani Ceballos has admitted that he will never forget his home debut for the club, saying it is one of the most ‘special’ days of his life.
The Spaniard made his first start in an Arsenal shirt having begun last weekend’s win over Newcastle on the bench, putting in a top-class performance in the 2-1 win over Burnley.
The midfielder grabbed two assists on his full debut for the club, having joined on a season-long loan from Real Madrid, and speaking with the official Arsenal website, he admitted it was a ‘special’ day.
“The most important thing in football is to win,” he said.
“When you have a great game and can help the team to get the victory, you feel satisfaction to know that you’re going home calmly and with the work done.
“The truth is that for me it has been one of the most special days of my life. I think that by starting at home with a win, and with this passion shown at the end of the match, I think it will be hard for me to forget this day.”
