With the January transfer window well underway, and a managerial change at Norwich City, it remains to be seen what kind of month it will be at Carrow Road.

Ultimately, things have not been good enough for the Norfolk club, paving the way for Dean Smith’s departure and David Wagner’s arrival.

Championship clubs are already busy in the market as they bolster their squads for what is set to be an exciting second part to the campaign.

Whilst we wait and see how things play out in Norfolk over this month, here, we take a look at two Norwich transfers that we could see, one in and one out…

In – Alex Pritchard

Sunderland attacking midfielder Alex Pritchard has been linked with making a Carrow Road return this month, as revealed in a Twitter update from journalist Mike McGrath.

The tweet states that the Sunderland midfielder is attracting lots of Championship interest, with the Canaries and Stoke City the only two named clubs.

Quiz: Can you name which club Norwich City signed these 22 players from?

1. Josh Sargent

Schalke Werder Bremen Wolfsburg Hertha Berlin

A player with evident creative abilities, whilst being someone who works intelligently out of possession, this could prove to be good business for the Canaries.

However, there is a lot of interest in the 29-year-old, whilst he has been a regular at The Stadium of Light since his arrival.

Out – Max Aarons

Max Aarons is always on the radar of Premier League clubs, with a report from The Sun in November claiming that Manchester United are keeping an eye on the 22-year-old.

A further update on his situation, from 90min.com, has suggested that Tottenham Hotspur are also monitoring his situation in Norfolk.

A player who has proven to provide an attacking threat and defensive resilience at Championship level, he has also impressed in England’s top flight.

Often Premier League managers speak about Championship players being too expensive, with it being likely that the Canaries would have a very high price tag.
