Thierry Henry has been one goal shy of Ian Wright’s 185 Arsenal strikes for almost two months. Injuries mean the Frenchman has missed Arsenal’s last seven games since moving to within a goal of the all-time Arsenal goalscoring record.

First the Frenchman scores one of the greatest goals of his career. Then, after the break, he scores one of the most important, becoming the only Arsenal player to ever score more goals than Ian Wright.

#OTD in 2005, Thierry Henry became Arsenal's record goalscorer with a brace against Sparta Prague beating Ian Wright's record of 185 goals.
