Weâve been blessed with some incredible World Cup goals over the years.
But youâd be hard pressed to find many better than Robin van Persieâs header against Spain in 2014.
Isolating himself between Sergio Ramos and Jordi Alba, the Dutch striker made his move off the shoulder â and boy did Daley Blind find him.
Floating a perfect ball over the top into his stride, Van Persie headed over Iker Casillas in what was an outrageous display of finishing.
European Championship and previous World Cup winners Spain were sent crashing out in the group stages.
Netherlands, meanwhile, finished third after losing to Argentina on penalties ⊠but this goal will live long in the memory.
