Wolves striker Leo Bonatini has revealed his eagerness to stay at Nottingham Forest beyond the end of his loan deal.
Bonatini has been at the City Ground since January where he’s netted one goal in six appearances so far.
Minutes have been hard to come by for the Brazilian so far under Martin O’Neill, but with Forest having an option to buy the forward permanently in the summer, the player himself has admitted he would like to stay in the east Midlands.
“Yes, of course,” he told the Express and Star.
“It is a really good team and they have very good conditions here.
“Even if we don’t achieve the play-offs and we are staying in the Championship next season, I would like to stay because I have found it really good.
“But of course I know that it is not just about me; I have a contract with Wolves. But I am enjoying being here.
“I think it depends how I finish the season here. Wolves are doing well, too.
“I don’t know. It’s something we’ll just have to wait until the summer.”
