Omari Forson struck for Manchester United U18 in victory over Everton today.

United consolidated their place at the top of the Premier League Under-18 North with a hard-earned 2-0 win over Everton at Finch Farm on Saturday.

Having leapfrogged Manchester City to go to the summit of the table after last Saturday's 6-0 win over Sunderland, United's kids were looking to cement our status as league leaders and first-half goals from Forson and Will Fish saw the mission accomplished against Everton's hard-working and talented group of young players.

Last summer, United have fought off Arsenal attention to secure Forson to new terms.

Forson is sticking with United after the highly-rated midfielder was linked with a move to Prem rivals Arsenal. He was added to United's U18 squad for the season.

United moved quickly to tie down the former West Ham academy product to professional terms amid interest from Arsenal.
