Not only did Manchester City confirmed the signing of the Egyptian forward in a blockbuster €75 million transfer deal. But this fee also places him among Frankfurt’s most expensive departures, alongside notable names like Randal Kolo Muani, Luka Jović, and Sébastien Haller.
Marmoush has signed a four-and-a-half-year contract with the Premier League champions and will wear the iconic number 7 shirt at the club. His arrival makes him City’s third signing of the January transfer window.
The 24-year-old striker has seen his market value soar from €22 million to €60 million in just one season, thanks to his electrifying performances. His remarkable form has solidified his reputation as one of Europe’s most sought-after forwards.
Marmoush’s numbers this season have been outstanding. Across all competitions, he has scored 20 goals in 26 matches, and provided 14 assists!
In fact, only three forwards in Europe’s top five leagues have had a more productive season than him, proving his elite attacking prowess.
