Chivas’ poor results in the 2021 Apertura have been boiled down to a historic lack of scoring from their attackers.
The Guadalajara giants have the second-worst attack of the tournament with just 11 goals, which has cancelled out the efforts of one of the best defences in the league.
In hopes to resolve their woes, the newspaper El Universal claim that Chivas could bring back Omar Bravo to guide their attackers next season and beyond.
Of course, Bravo is the all-time leading scorer with the Flock, scoring 132 goals in 369 matches for the club during three stints between 2001 and 2017.
Ángel Zaldívar leads the team this season with just three goals, followed by Issac Brizuela with two, showcasing the club’s desperation for goals next season.
