Itâs no question that Olympique Lyonnais women have become one of the most elite clubs in modern football.
The club has seven UEFA Womenâs Champions League titles â winning the last five in consecutive fashion â equalling Real Madrid menâs record.
Now after their recent 3-1 victory over BrĂžndby, they etch their name in the history books yet again.
The victory on March 10 was Lyonâs 30th consecutive unbeaten match, becoming the outright record holders in both the menâs and womenâs competition.
The last time they lost was on April 29, 2017 (0-1 to Manchester City).
With the new accomplishment, the club now holds a staggering 21 Champions League records.
Frankly, there are only seven records they donât hold in the competition. Talk about dominance!
