Renê’s journey at Flamengo may be nearing its end. The left-back is currently being watched by Greek club Olympiacos, which took Rafinha from the club last season.
At first, Olympiacos’ intention is to bring Renê in for a six-month loan, with an obligation to buy if the player hits certain goals in his contract.
However, it’s believed Flamengo will only look to sell Renê outright and will likely not consider the offer.
In addition, the full-back has also piqued the interest of a pair of Turkish clubs. The player has a contract until December 2022, meaning he can sign a pre-contract from June and leave the club free of charge.
The full-back is on the squad’s negotiables list for next season, which also includes Rodinei, Gustavo Henrique, Léo Pereira, Otávio, Piris da Motta, Hugo Moura, Vitinho, Vítor Gabriel.
