Het Nieuwsblad are reporting that both Olympiacos and Nottingham Forest are interested in Anderlecht winger Francis Amuzu. The 24-year-old has been expected to leave during this summer transfer window, yet with time running out in the window it appeared he may well be remaining in Brussels. So far this season, Amuzu has played five games and scored one goal, which was the winner against Charleroi at the weekend.
According to the paper, both interested parties are offering €6m for the winger. However, Anderlecht are hoping that they can get between €8/9m from either side.
The winger, who is eligible for both Belgium and Ghana, has spent his entire career at the Mauves. Amuzu broke through at a young age and has gone on to make 207 appearances for Anderlecht, scoring 21 goals. Anderlecht have already brought in a replacement for Amuzu, with Alexis Flips having joined from Reims. The Brussels side have been very active in the transfer market, with Thomas Delaney, Ludwig Augustinsson and Mats Rits are just a few of the players that have come in this summer.
