The striker announced on social media that he will voice the Green Goblin in the French version of the upcoming animated Spider-Man movie.

Giroud will be joined by PSG defender and France team-mate Presnel Kimpembe, who will play Scorpion in the blockbuster film.

The English version of the film is titled ‘Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse’ and the French equivalent has been dubbed ‘Spider-Man: New Generation’.

The film is set to be released worldwide on 12 December. In the meantime, the two stars will attempt to help France secure a Nations League semi-final berth with a win or draw against Holland on Friday.

France will then host South American side Uruguay in a friendly next Tuesday, 20 November.
