Bayern Munich CEO Oliver Kahn has suggested Bayern Munich may be basically done with their transfer business for this summer.
The Bavarians have acquired Dayot Upamecano, Omar Richards and Sven Ulreich, while David Alaba, Jérôme Boateng, and Javier Martinez have departed the Allianz Arena.
Young attacker Joshua Zirkzee is expected to join Belgian side Anderlecht on loan, but there is unlikely to be any major developments for the rest of the window.
“I think we are very well positioned in all parts of the team,” Kahn told RTL about Bayern’s plans.
Speaking before the 3-0 defeat to Napoli on Saturday, the former goalkeeper said he believes there is an “excellent” squad at manager Julian Nagelsmann’s disposal.
Kahn admitted the the economic effects of the COVID-19 pandemic were a major factor in Bayern’s limited dealings.
“We are not the only club that is affected by this,” he said.
Bayern will start their domestic campaign with a DFB Pokal first-round date with Bremer SV on Friday.
