Olé Gunnar Solskjaer’s connections with Red Bull Salzburg’s Erling Braut Haaland extend beyond their former working relationship at Norwegian club Molde and could prove decisive in luring the prodigious striker to Old Trafford.

Despite widespread reports claiming that superagent Mino Raiola is representing Haaland and is pushing for a move away from the Premier League, there is no evidence of any of these facts. The player continues to be represented by the Relatives football agency, his father Alf-Inge Haaland and Tore Pedersen, according to Transfermarkt.com.

Whatever the case, it would seem that it is the United manager who has the inside track on the young Norwegian’s future, and not the ubiquitous Raiola.
