Ole Gunnar Solskjaer ends rift with Norwegian broadcasters | OneFootball

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is back talking to Norwegian broadcasters TV2.

The Manchester United manager boycotted the station after the channel ran an interview with a woman who was critical of him and his former club Molde for their response when she made a rape allegation against a player (BBC have a story on that case).

It’s a difficult situation to talk about without the required information, but Solskjaer has now resumed doing interviews with TV2, as per The Times who briefly touch on the feud.

A lot more serious than Sir Alex Ferguson’s boycott of the BBC, but that feud went on for seven years and they only came to an agreement to do interviews again towards the end of his managerial career.

Fergie felt the BBC were “arrogant beyond belief” with an “inability to apologise”, as per the MailOnline.

The former United manager had grievances about the 2004 documentary, Father and Son, about him and his son Jason, then working as a football agent. He felt Jason was unfairly portrayed as somebody who exploited his father’s influence and position.
