Although the transfer window is closed for Premier League clubs, teams can still sell their players until September 2, and thus the Paul Pogba saga continues.
Pogba insister after Manchester United’s 4-0 over Chelsea that there are still questions marks over his future at Old Trafford. However, if there are question marks, manager Ole Gunna Solskjaer has not seen any.
“For me, yeah, he’s going to stay,” said a confident Solskjaer to the media. “I’ve got absolutely no concerns on Paul. [The media] always put question marks around Paul.”
Pogba has indeed been vocal in the past, and to Solskjaer that he has been enjoying his time under the new manager.
“I don’t think it is odd, [he’s] saying ‘I enjoy playing, I have fun with my team-mates, I enjoy what I’m doing, I love my job and enjoy the game’,” added Solskjaer.”There’s not one press conference that I’ve not answered a question about Paul, but 80 per cent of what he said was that he enjoyed that game and his time here.”
While Solskjaer insists Pogba is going nowhere, transfer reports in Italy and Spain claim Real Madrid and Juventus are planning last-ditch attempts to sign the French international.
