Whilst the transfer window in France has now closed, there could still be departures at OGC Nice. On deadline day, there were loan moves to youngsters, whilst Billal Brahimi also saw his contract terminated by mutual consent.

Amidou Doumbouya (18) could be the next to leave the club, according to a report from Foot Mercato. The Nice academy product has been the subject of talks with Saudi Pro League side Al-Ahli. It is Foot Mercato’s understanding that those talks have brought about an agreement. The defender is now set to join the Saudi side on a permanent transfer, which Marc Mechenoua believes to be worth €250,000.

The centre-back must now give the green light to the move. He is currently in talks with Al-Ahli over personal terms. Doumbouya has come through the academy at Nice and has made four appearances for the first team. However, the France U18 international is now set for a new challenge in the Middle East.
