OGC Nice to sell Flavius Daniliuc to Salernitana for €5m

Austrian youth international central defender Flavius Daniliuc is in the process of leaving Ligue 1 and OGC Nice.

According to Gianluca di Marzio, the 21-year-old is leaving for Serie A likely relegation battlers Salernitana in a €5m transfer, thus buying him out of his current contract with OGCN which runs until June 2024.

Daniliuc was not part of OGC Nice’s squad to face Marseille at the Allianz Riviera on Sunday afternoon, in which Les Aiglons lost, 3-0.

Daniliuc made 55 appearances for Les Aiglons, often filling in with great effect as the right-sided central defender when Jean-Clair Todibo was missing and deputising at right-back when fitness issues to Youcef Atal and Jordan Lotomba.
