There is no age limit to breaking records. Dante played his 150th match in Ligue 1 Uber Eats - 12 with LOSC (2004-2006) and 138 with OGC Nice (since 2016) - on Wednesday night, becoming the oldest player to reach this milestone in the French league since 1950-51.
At the age of 37 years, 11 months and 4 days, Les Aiglons' captain dethroned Jean-Francois Beltramini, who played his 150th match at 36 years, 7 months and 23 days with Rouen (on 28 August 1984). Conversely, Basile Boli is the youngest player to have reached this symbolic milestone in Ligue 1 Uber Eats (20 years, 7 months and 6 days), playing for AJ Auxerre against Lille on 8 August 1987.
