Franck Haise was unveiled as OGC Nice’s manager on Friday. Foot Mercato now reports that he may be reunited with one of his former players at the Riviera club.
Having appointed people to the managerial positions, with Haise arriving as manager and Florian Maurice as sporting director, attention now turns to the transfer window. Le Gym are yet to make a signing, whilst there are expected to be some big-name departures. As confirmed by Nice president Jean-Pierre Rivère, Jean-Clair Todibo and Khéphren Thuram, both of whom are garnering considerable interest, will be allowed to leave.
At least one defender, perhaps more, will be needed with Nice expected to switch to a back three under Haise. Jonathan Gradit (31) is being considered by Les Aiglons, according to Foot Mercato. The French centre-back was a regular under Haise at RC Lens, however, with his contract running until 2026, Nice will have to be convincing in the negotiations in order to secure their man.
