Official | Wolfsburg midfielder Joshua Guilavogui joins Bordeaux on loan

Bundesliga Wolfsburg have announced the departure of 31-year-old defensive-midfielder Josuha Guilavogui to Ligue 1 side Bordeaux on loan until the end of the season with a reported option to buy.

Guilavogui arrived in Wolfsburg from Atletico Madrid in 2014 for €3 million and went on to play 239 games in all competitions, also leading Wolfsburg onto the pitch as captain.

“The decision was very difficult for me because my family and I felt at home in Wolfsburg. We’ve made a lot of friends here and we’ll always look back fondly at our time at Wolfsburg,” said Guilavogui.
