Bundesliga side Hertha Berlin have this afternoon announced the signing of 24-year-old French attacker Wilfried Kanga from BSC Young Boys on a four-year contract until 2026.
“We’re really pleased that we’ve been able to make Wilfried Kanga a Hertha player. His size, physical presence, speed and his goal-hungry attitude means that we’ve signed a striker who fits well into the style of football that we’d like to play,” said sporting director Fredi Bobic.
Kanga added: “Hertha’s the club that most wanted me and that gave me the feeling that I’m needed here. It’s a great club, and I really feel as though I can develop as a player here.”
Kanga scored 16 and created five across 42 games in all competitions for Young Boys last season and has scored 18 and created six in 44 games since joining from Kayserispor on a free transfer in July 2021.
