Now, Spain’s Under-21 manager Santi Denia has released the squad list for the U-21 European Championships in the summer, with three Barcelona youngsters included.

Indeed, defender Gerard Martin, and midfielders Pablo Torre and Fermin Lopez have all been named in the squad by Santi Denia.

It means that Fermin, who is also included in the senior La Roja squad, will be pulling double duty during the summer, much like he did last year when he was part of the Euro-winning squad and then participated in the Olympics.

Unlike Fermin, though, other youngsters like Pau Cubarsi and Lamine Yamal have not been called up for the U-21 Euros.
