He had undergone the first part of medical examinations a few months ago and completed his checks in Milan on Friday morning.
The 31-year-old scored 91 goals in 182 appearances with Porto playing for the Portuguese club from 2020 until June 2024.
He is Inter’s third summer signing after Piotr Zielinski, another free agent, and Josep Martinez, who joined the Nerazzurri on a permanent €15m transfer from Genoa.
The Nerazzurri are now looking for defensive reinforcement after an injury to Canada star Tajon Buchanan, who will remain out of action until December due to a tibia injury suffered on international duty.
The defending Serie A champions will start the new season with an away game at Genoa on August 17 at 18:30 CET.
