RB Salzburg have signed Strihinja Pavlović (21) on a four-year deal. The defender joins from AS Monaco for an undisclosed fee having spent the last six months on loan at FC Basel.
In a busy day of transfer activity at the Principality club, which saw Takumi Minamino’s (27) transfer from Liverpool confirmed, the club have since confirmed the departure of Pavlović.
RMC confirmed that he was to leave Monaco on a permanent deal later in the day. His move to Salzburg has now been confirmed, and the deal is reported to be worth €7m with a potential €2m in bonuses.
Pavlović has only made 12 appearances for Monaco since joining from Partizan Belgrade in 2020 for a reported €8m fee. Since then, he has spent time on loan back in Partizan Belgrade, as well as at Club Brugge and more recently with FC Basel, where he made 10 appearances after joining in January.
