Inter Milan coach Simone Inzaghi has decided to start Yann Bisseck in defense, Davide Frattesi in midfield, and Alexis Sanchez in attack against Red Bull Salzburg. This evening’s Champions League group stage matchday four clash has kickoff scheduled for 21.00 CET.

This evening, Inzaghi has made quite a few changes compared to the team that beat Atalanta in Serie A over the weekend.

Firstly, the big news – Yann Bisseck starts.

The German Under-21 international joined Inter during the summer from Danish club Aarhus. However, he’s yet to start for the Nerazzurri before this evening.

But with players like Benjamin Pavard and Juan Cuadrado out, the 22-year-old gets the nod in defense.

Meanwhile, Italian international duo Francesco Acerbi and Alessandro Bastoni form the rest of Inter’s back three.

Secondly, on the flanks Matteo Darmian and Carlos Augusto start.

Denzel Dumfries starts the match on the bench, due to some muscle fatigue. In fact, the Dutchman’s absence makes up a big part of the reason why Bisseck starts.

Thirdly, in midfield Davide Frattesi joins Nicolo Barella and Hakan Calhanoglu.

The 24-year-old Italian international joined Inter from Sassuolo during the summer.

Fourthly, in attack, Inter captain Lautaro Martinez gets a rest.

The Argentine has started the majority of the Nerazzurri’s matches this season. However, he drops out – having scored Inter’s winner against Atalanta on Saturday.

Rather, it is Alexis Sanchez who partners Marcus Thuram in attack.

Meanwhile, Inter’s deadline day signing Davy Klaassen is available on the bench.

And in other team news, Marko Arnautovic is finally back in a matchday squad.
