Inter Milan coach Simone Inzaghi has decided to start Yann Bisseck in defense, and Lautaro Martinez and Marcus Thuram in attack against Torino. This evening’s Serie A matchday 7 clash kicks off at 21.45 CET.
Inter coach Inzaghi has made big changes to the team that faced Red Star Belgrade in midweek.
However, the Nerazzurri coach has gone with the same starting eleven that beat Udinese in Serie A last weekend.
Firstly, that means that Yann Sommer keeps his spot in goal. Therefore, the former Bayern Munich and Borussia Monchengladbach continues his streak of starting every match this season.
Meanwhile, on the flanks Inzaghi has swapped things out from Tuesday’s Champions League clash.
Therefore, Italian internationals Matteo Darmian and Federico Dimarco replace Denzel Dumfries and Carlos Augusto.
Then, in defense, Inzaghi has made two notable changes.
On the left of Inter’s back three, Alessandro Bastoni keeps his place from Tuesday’s match.
However, Inzaghi has changed the other two players in defense.
In the centre of the back three, therefore, Francesco Acerbi comes in for Stefan de Vrij.
Then, on the right of the defense, former Bayern Munich defender Benjamin Pavard drops out of the team.
Therefore, there is a place for 23-year-old Germany youth team international Yann Bisseck.
In midfield, meanwhile, it is the trio of Davide Frattesi, Hakan Calhanoglu, and Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
Lastly, in attack, Inter captain Lautaro Martinez and France international Marcus Thuram come in for Marko Arnautovic and Mehdi Taremi who started against Red Star.
In terms of injuries, there are two absentees.
Nicolo Barella is still out with a thigh problem, firstly. And then, Canadian international Tajon Buchanan is still recovering from a broken leg although a return is closer than ever for him.
