Official: Sevilla announce defender signing | OneFootball

La Liga outfit Sevilla have this weekend announced a fresh addition to the club’s defensive ranks.

The player to have put pen to paper on terms with the Andalusian side? Gabriel Suazo.

Suazo, for his part, is a 27-year-old left-back, who is also capable of lining out in a more advanced role.

The Santiago native most recently spent time on the books of French outfit Toulouse, after departing Colo-Colo in his home country of Chile back in the summer of 2023.

After the parties failed to reach an agreement on the terms of a contract extension, however, Suazo recently became available as a free agent.

And as alluded to above, this weekend, the Chilean has opted to take his talents to Spain.

As per a statement across the website and social media platforms of La Liga outfit Sevilla:

‘Sevilla FC has recently finalized its second signing for the 2025/26 first team: Gabriel Suazo. The left-back arrives on a free transfer after his time at Toulouse and has signed with Sevilla until 2028.’
