Anderlecht have announced the signing of 26-year-old attacker Benito Raman from 2. Bundesliga side Schalke 04 for a fee reported to be less than €3 million.
Raman has signed a three-year contract until 2024 with the Belgian side, coached by former Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany, ending his two-year stay at Schalke.
“Benito openly communicated to us that he no longer sees his future at Schalke. That is why it’s positive for both sides to have found a sensible solution with his transfer to Anderlecht. We are satisfied with the economic conditions, it brings out club one step forward,” said sporting director Rouven Schröder.
