Official: Saud Abdulhamid signs for Roma | OneFootball

Roma have officially unveiled their latest signing in Saud Abdulhamid.

In an official announcement, Roma presented the Saudi fullback who joins from Al Hilal.

“AS Roma is pleased to announce the signing of Saud Abdulhamid on a permanent deal from Al Hilal,” reads Roma’s official announcement.

“Saud, a right-back born in 1999, is also capable of playing on the left. He is a direct player who frequently attacks down the flanks at pace, causing problems in the opponent’s final third.

This is supported by statistics from last season, when he was a vital player in Al-Hilal’s league title victory. In 32 games in the Saudi Pro League, Saud scored three goals and assisted five.

The defender will be the first Saudi Arabian footballer in Serie A history, wearing the number 12 shirt for the Giallrossi.”
