Luka Romero continues at Spain and he will play for Alavés next season.
Romero was not in the plans for Stefano Pioli last season and he is not in the plans of new coach Paulo Fonseca either, as he leaves the club once again on loan in search for consistent playing time.
Romero spent the second half of last season at Almería where he scored 3 goals, and he is moving back to Spain and will spend at least the next season at Deportivo Alavés.
“Milan can confirm that Luka Romero has joined Deportivo Alavés on loan until 30 June 2025, with the option to make the deal permanent. The Club would like to wish Luka all the best for the coming season,” a statement reads.
The 19-year-old Luka joined Milan on a free transfer from Lazio last summer and failed to make an impact, only playing 5 games for Milan.
