Stade de Reims have announced the departure of Guadeloupean centre-back Andreaw Gravillon (24) to Serie A’s eighth-placed side Torino. The 24-year-old will move to the other side of the Alps on an initial €300k loan deal with a €3.5m permanent clause, which would then see him put pen to paper on a deal running until the end of the 2026/27 campaign. The clause will reportedly be triggered if Gravillon plays ten games with the Toro. Gravillon is no stranger to Italian football – between 2017 and 2020, the Inter youth product played for Benevento, Pescara, Sassuolo and Ascoli.
A loan spell at Lorient convinced Reims to sign him in 2021. After making 26 appearances during the 2021/22 term, the defender has seen his playing time decrease under new manager Will Still, who has overseen a 12-game unbeaten streak at the helm since taking over from Óscar García back in October. In total, Gravillon has played 42 games with the Champagne side.
