The Golden Boy is an award established by Italian publication Tuttosport that is voted for by sports journalist to honour the best Under-21 footballer playing in Europe.

Real Madrid midfield ace Jude Bellingham won the award in 2023 and now three of his teammates are in contention for the honour.

Endrick joined Real Madrid last summer and has had a decent debut season considering the limited minutes he saw under Carlo Ancelotti. In 37 appearances (847 minutes), he managed a return of seven goals and one assist.

Arda Guler, too, endured a similar campaign to that of Endrick, not receiving enough minutes under Ancelotti, although things improved for him towards the backend of the season.

The 20-year-old, who is also in contention for the La Liga U-23 Player of the Season award, put up a return of five goals and nine assists from 42 games (1773 minutes).

As for Huijsen, the youngster, who will join Real Madrid next month, enjoyed a stunning season in the Premier League with AFC Bournemouth, establishing himself as one of the most sought-after young defenders in Europe.
