La Liga giants Real Madrid have on Thursday tied one of the club’s most highly-regarded young talents down to fresh contract terms.
The player in question? Diego Aguado.
Aguado, for those not familiar with his name, is an 18-year-old defender, capable of lining out either at centre-back, or left-back.
The Spaniard has long been making a name for himself as a potential star in the making behind the scenes at Valdebebas, considered a future first-team player by the Real Madrid coaching staff.
Aguado, in fact, has already made his senior bow for Los Blancos, introduced off the bench in a Copa del Rey meeting with Deportiva Minera earlier this year.
All of a Real persuasion will therefore no doubt be delighted to hear of the prodigious stopper committing his long-term future to his current employers.
As per journalist Fabrizio Romano:
’18 year old talent Diego Aguado has signed a new deal at Real Madrid today. It will be valid until June 2029.’
