Real Madrid have confirmed their starting line-up for the upcoming clash against Osasuna, with the most significant change in the squad being Brahim Diaz replacing Rodrygo in the attack.

This decision by Carlo Ancelotti comes as part of a tactical adjustment ahead of a crucial run of fixtures, including their Champions League commitments.

Travelling to Osasuna is never an easy task, and this fixture is no exception. Madrid may have an impressive record against their opponents, having gone 22 matches unbeaten against them, but history alone does not guarantee success.

Ancelotti has opted for three changes to his starting eleven. At left-back, Fran Garcia steps in for Ferland Mendy as part of the regular rotation the manager has been implementing in that position.

In midfield, Luka Modric replaces Dani Ceballos, who has been a consistent starter lately, featuring in seven of Madrid’s last nine matches.

Upfront, Brahim gets the nod ahead of Rodrygo, adding a different dynamic to the attack. The remaining eight players in the line-up are the same ones who started in Manchester earlier in the week.

Real Madrid will be without several key players for this encounter, as Lucas Vazquez, Antonio Rudiger, David Alaba, Dani Carvajal, and Eder Militão are all sidelined due to injury.

Among the available squad members, Dani Ceballos is the only one at risk of suspension, as another yellow card would see him miss the crucial league clash against Girona on 23rd February.

With Madrid facing a demanding schedule, squad rotation is essential. The team will need to be at their best to secure three points against an Osasuna side that has proven to be a tough opponent, especially at home.
