Having won the UEFA Super Cup already this season, Real Madrid will be contesting for their second trophy of the campaign next week when they participate in the FIFA Intercontinental Cup Final in Qatar.
The Merengues will enter the competition directly in the finals after winning the UEFA Champions League and will face one of Pachuca or Al Ahly, who will face off tomorrow for a spot in the main event.
The match will be played on December 18, Wednesday, at Lusail Stadium and even though there’s still time before Real Madrid fly to Qatar, they have announced the squad list for the tournament.
And the champions of Europe have decided to take all their players, those currently injured and a few from the Castilla squad.
Indeed, Dani Carvajal and Eder Militao, out for the season, have been included on the list while David Alaba also makes the cut.
Kylian Mbappe, who picked up an injury earlier this week, will also make the trip to Qatar and could even play if his recovery goes according to plan.
Meanwhile, youngsters like Raul Asencio, Youssef Lekhedim, Fran Gonzalez, and Lorenzo Aguado will also be a part of the travelling squad.
