It has only been three weeks since the 2024/25 La Liga season came to an end, but Real Madrid have been quite swift in their transfer business in the summer.
With the transfer window having been opened briefly so that teams participating in the FIFA Club World Cup can conduct operations, Real Madrid moved to sign Dean Huijsen and Trent Alexander-Arnold.
The 20-year-old centre-back was signed from Bournemouth for a fee of €58 million while Alexander-Arnold has signed on a free transfer, although technically Real Madrid paid a compensation to Liverpool to secure his early release.
Both players have been included in the squad for the Club World Cup, which new manager Xabi Alonso announced earlier today.
Now, it has also emerged that Los Blancos have already registered both Huijsen and Alexander-Arnold in La Liga.

Real Madrid have not had any issues with Financial Fair Play and player registration, thus, is not a dragged-out process like it is with some other La Liga teams, including champions Barcelona.
Huijsen, who will be wearing the No. 24 shirt, already appears on Real Madrid’s roster in the official La Liga website, as does Alexander-Arnold, whose shirt number is yet to be confirmed.
The England right-back will officially be presented tomorrow when his kit number at the club will also become known.
Real Madrid, though, have already taken care of the duo’s registration with La Liga and will focus on more signings in the coming weeks while the team is in the US competing at the Club World Cup.
