Real Madrid put an end to Gonzalo Garcia’s uncertain future at Real Madrid by announcing a contract extension on Friday.
The youngster has penned a long-term deal at the Bernabeu, which will go a long way in sealing his future at the club.
On top of that, Real Madrid have announced that Garcia will be a part of the senior team for now, largely thanks to a brilliant FIFA Club World Cup campaign.
As promised, Real Madrid appear to have already registered Garcia in the first-team,as can be seen in the official La Liga website.
The website data shows that Garcia was registered today, not too long after the club announced the renewal of the young forward.

This could prove to be a big step for Garcia as he now looks to serve as Real Madrid’s Plan B going forward and adopt the role of Joselu.
At the age of just 21, Garcia has already shown a lot of promise and his ability as a poacher could make him a valuable asset going forward.
It must be remembered that Real Madrid appeared way too reliant on Kylian Mbappe last season, in terms of productivity.
The presence of Garcia, to that end, could help mitigate that problem, especially if Xabi Alonso can utilise him as an effective super sub.
There are challenges, however. Garcia will be competing alongside Endrick, who was given the number nine role and possesses limitless talent.
If Endrick can elevate his game under Xabi Alonso, it may prove to be difficult for Garcia to gain regular game time next season. The competition between these two young strikers, therefore, will be worth watching.
