Official: Real Madrid legends to face Barcelona legends in Japan next month | OneFootball

A little over a month after the first El Clasico of the 2024/25 season, fans will be treated to a legends Clasico as former Real Madrid and Barcelona superstars face off in Japan on December 15.

The Real Madrid Legends team will see club icons like Iker Casillas, Luis Figo, Roberto Carlos, Steve McManaman, Ivan Campo, and Julio Baptista turn up.

Meanwhile, Barça Legends will comprise top names like Xavi Hernandez, Andres Iniesta, Rivaldo, Javier Mascherano, Rafa Marquez, and Bojan Krkic, among others.

The contest will take place at the Ajinomoto Stadium in Tokyo (Japan) at 2 pm (local time) in what will be a nostalgic experience for fans across the globe tuning in.

This Legends El Clasico will be the fourth time that the two sides meet on the pitch. The first time the encounter took place was in 2017, when the Blaugrana Legends won 3-2. The two teams then met again in 2021, and this time the Merengues got a 3-2 victory.

The two teams will face off again later this month in Qatar before the Legends El Clasico returns in December from Tokyo.
