Even with the season almost coming to an end, Real Madrid’s injury woes appear to have no end in sight.

In yet another major blow for Los Blancos, the club have lost Endrick due to a fresh injury he incurred in the game against Sevilla.

This was confirmed by Real Madrid, who have revealed that the forward has been diagnosed with a hamstring injury to his right leg.

Endrick out for two months

According to Jose Luis Diaz, Endrick has been ruled out for a period of at least two months due to the latest injury.

He reveals that the Brazilian had picked up a knock in the second half against Sevilla and this latest knock could potentially see him even miss the upcoming FIFA Club World Cup.

This serves as a real blow for Endrick, who has struggled for minutes throughout the season.

The upcoming Club World Cup, to that end, would have been an ideal opportunity for the youngster to showcase his talents in front of new coach Xabi Alonso.

But with the forward set to miss the Club World Cup, Alonso won’t have an opportunity to take a closer look at him during the Real Madrid pre-season.

This, in turn, may have serious ramifications as far as his future at Santiago Bernabeu is concerned, especially considering the fact that the forward has been linked with a potential loan move away from the Bernabeu.

Not to mention, Endrick will also lose out on the opportunity to start in Real Madrid’s final league game against Real Sociedad.
