Since the start of the month, there has been a lot of excitement in the Real Madrid camp surrounding Franco Mastantuono.
The Argentine ace was one of Real Madrid’s four summer signings so far, but even though the move was announced earlier in the summer, the club were not in a position to officially announce him as a Real Madrid player.
That is because of the laws surrounding underage players belonging to other continents. Real Madrid, therefore, were waiting for Mastantuono to turn 18 on August 14.
Keeping that in mind, Real Madrid have now officially announced the presentation date for the young Argentine, which also falls on his birthday.
Indeed, Real Madrid, through an official statement, have confirmed that Mastantuono’s presentation will take place tomorrow at Real Madrid City.

“Real Madrid CF announces that tomorrow, Thursday, at 1:00 p.m., the presentation of our player Franco Mastantuono will take place at Real Madrid City,” the statement read.
“Previously, Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez will welcome Franco Mastantuono for the formal signing ceremony that links our new player to the club for the next six seasons,” the statement added.
Mastantuono was a strategic signing for Real Madrid as the club look to focus more towards the development of young talents under the leadership of new coach Xabi Alonso.
Alonso has already enjoyed a great deal of autonomy compared to previous coaches and one would assume he had played a key role behind the acquisition of Mastantuono as well.
Once the presentation is complete, the young Argentine will be eligible to be registered in the Real Madrid squad, with many expecting him to make his debut in the opening clash against Osasuna.
