After Barcelona and Atletico Madrid’s disappointment in the Champions League this week, Rael Madrid are the only Spanish team left in the competition, but will face off against defending champions Manchester City for the second leg tonight.

The first game, at the Santiago Bernabeu, ended at 3-3, which gives City more than enough scope to still win the game. Carlo Ancelotti will be hoping that his starting lineup can get the job done without too much fuss tonight.

Andriy Lunin starts in goal for Madrid, hoping to do much better compared to the first-leg. And in front of him, he finds club captain replacing the suspended Aurelien Tchouameni, while Antonio Rudiger retains his spot.

Daniel Carvajal has been given the nod at right-back, while Ferland Mendy retains his spot as the left-back.

There are little to no doubts about the rest of the team, with Ancelotti going for his gala midfield four. Federico Valverde and Toni Kroos flank Eduardo Camavinga on paper, while Jude Bellingham starts in front of them as the no. 10.

A lot of pressure is on Rodrygo and Vinicius Jr, who take their place as the forwards, playing off of Bellingham.

Confirmed Madrid XI: Lunin; Carvajal, Rudiger, Nacho, Mendy; Valverde, Camavinga, Kroos; Bellingham; Rodrygo, Vinicius
