Wing-back Przemyslaw Frankowski has inked a new contract that will see him remain with RC Lens until 2028, announce the club.
The 28-year-old proved to be an indispensable asset for Lens, having made 37 appearances last season scoring five goals to add to the previous season’s tally of six. Frankowski also made three assists during the previous Ligue 1 season and was a key part of club’s qualification campaign for the coveted UEFA Champions League. He has been the player that has attempted the 2nd highest amount of crosses this season in Ligue 1.
Lens director general Anuad Pouille also praised the Polish international, adding “In just two seasons with Lens, Przemyslaw has established himself as a key player on both the left and right in France. His recruitment in this modern era has revived the club’s DNA, which has seen a number of Polish legends come and go.”
