AC Milan head coach Stefano Pioli has named his 23-man squad for Monday night’s Serie A opener against Bologna at San Siro.

The Rossoneri begun their campaign on Thursday night with a 2-0 win over Shamrock Rovers in the second qualifying round of the Europa League in Dublin, thanks to goals from Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Hakan Calhanoglu.

Pioli is expecting another tough test from Bologna as he stated in his pre-match press conference, while he will again battle a defensive crisis as Milan look to make it two wins from two to start the season.

There is no Alessio Romagnoli, Mateo Musacchio or Andrea Conti as the trio battle to recover from injury, while Rafael Leao is also out having just come out of quarantine. Ante Rebic is back from suspension, however.

Below is the list of players called up for the game by Pioli…

GOALKEEPERS A. Donnarumma, G. Donnarumma, Tătărușanu.

DEFENDERS Calabria, Duarte, Gabbia, Hernández, Kalulu, Kjær, Laxalt.

MIDFIELDERS Bennacer, Çalhanoğlu, Díaz, Kessie, Krunić, Paquetá, Saelemaekers, Tonali.

FORWARDS Castillejo, Colombo, Ibrahimović, Maldini, Rebić.
