AS Saint-Etienne have announced they have parted ways with head coach Olivier Dall’Oglio. Les Verts have lost away at Toulouse on Friday, sealing a third consecutive Ligue 1 loss. Saint-Etienne are currently 16th in the league. “AS Saint-Étienne have relieved Olivier Dall’Oglio of his duties as coach of the professional team as of today”, said the historical Ligue 1 club. Saint-Etienne lost four of their last five Ligue 1 games, including a 5-0 away rout at Rennes.
Dall’Oglio was the first Saint-Etienne head coach of the Kilmer Sports era, leading Les Verts to a Ligue 1 promotion last summer. Laurent Huard, Director of Saint-Etienne’s academy, will supervise the professional team until further notice. Saint-Etienne will host Olympique de Marseille in the Coupe de France RO64 next Sunday.
