Newly-promoted Premier League side Nottingham Forest have this evening announced the signing of French defender Moussa Niakhaté on a permanent deal from Mainz.
The former Valenciennes man has joined on a three-year deal, with an optional additional season included in the contract which can be triggered by the club.

The former French youth international joins his compatriot Giulian Biancone, who also joined the English team this summer, in a move from Troyes. The Roubaix native also spent a season in Ligue 1 with Metz, during which he made 35 appearanes before making the move across the Rhine.
