Official: Major win for Barcelona as new signing registered with La Liga | OneFootball

Some altogether significant news has come to the fore surrounding La Liga giants Barcelona on Friday evening.

This comes amid confirmation that new signing Joan García has been registered with La Liga.

Goalkeeper Joan of course put pen to paper on terms with Barcelona earlier this week, before being unveiled on Friday morning.

The understanding, owing in large part to recent comments laid out by Javier Tebas, however, was that for the time being at least, the 24-year-old would not be registered as part of Hansi Flick’s squad.

As much comes amid the well-documented financial problems at the Camp Nou.

In turn, it has come as something of a surprise, on Friday night, to see Joan’s name appear front and centre on La Liga’s website.

As showcased below, the shot-stopper is now considered a Barcelona player by the Spanish football powers, a major win for Joan Laporta and his board.
